Add your asset categories in the Administration area

Create a category

<aside> 💡 Note: only administrators can add an asset category.

Administration > Click on the Lists tab > Add Category > Type in the new category > Click on Create Category.

Delete a category

<aside> 💡 Note: only administrators can delete an asset category.

Administration > Lists > click on the 3 dots on the right of the category > Delete

Why associate an asset to a category?

It is necessary to create categories and associate them to the corresponding asset in order to filter your reports, inventory and map by asset type/category (ex: trailer, compressor, excavator, etc.).

In addition, the color tags are represented on the map which allows to visualize directly on a construction site or storage area what assets are present and available.
