To archive an asset: click on the inventory tab in the navigation bar, search for the desired asset and then select archive asset from the asset dashboard.

You can view the list of archived assets from the archives tab in inventory :
To unarchive or delete a material: click on inventory in the navigation bar, select the tab Archived, search for the asset and select Unarchive or Delete.
