Can I get the same data from all manufacturers? Are there standards?

No. Many manufacturers are inspired by standards such as the ones from AEMP or FMS, however they are free to follow their recommendations or not. As a result, not all providers offer the same level of information in terms of data type, data frequency, data quality.

What data sources (or equipment manufacturers) does Hiboo connect to?

Hiboo connects to over 60 data sources, and our tech team adds about 2 more sources every month. The list goes from equipment manufacturers (CAT, Bell, Komatsu, …) to trucks (Volvo Trucks, Mercedes, …) to IoT sources and more. See the full list in our catalog.

How to know if my equipment is connected?

Most relatively recent equipment are natively connected by the manufacturer, so there are good chances that the bigger part of your fleet is already producing data. To make sure of that contact your dealership and ask what is your data package and your credentials or contact us we are happy to help!
