Segments facilitate the management of an expanding fleet. They allow you to quickly organize your fleet into flexible groups, defined according to your own rules.

You can access the segments feature from the “Filter” button found at the top of the inventory or reports.
Create a New Segment
<aside> <img src="/icons/info-alternate_gray.svg" alt="/icons/info-alternate_gray.svg" width="40px" /> Only workspace administrators can create or modify segments. If this is not your case, do not hesitate to ask them to create a new segment.

Click on “Create a segment” then choose the rules (or filters) that will define the list of equipment, which you can view on the right.
When you get the expected result, name your segment and save it. It is now available for all workspace users.
You will be able to modify the segment in the future.

Using a Segment
You can choose to filter a report either by applying filters or by selecting a segment.
Segment Updates
Once the segment rules are defined, the list of machines will automatically update. If a machine enters your fleet and meets the defined rules, it will be added to the segment without any effort on your part.
